recipe : Peanut Butter Texas Sheet Cake


Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup water
¼ cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup milk

In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt and baking soda; set aside. In a saucepan combine butter, water and peanut butter; bring to a boil over medium heat. Add to flour mixture mixing well. Combine eggs, vanilla and milk; add to peanut butter mixture in bowl. Spread mixture into a grease 15x10 jelly roll pan. Bake for 15 to 20 mins in a 350⁰F degree oven.

Peanut Butter Icing
½ cup butter
¼ cup peanut butter
1/3 cup milk
4 cups powder sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

In a saucepan combine butter, peanut butter and milk; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in powder sugar and vanilla. Spread over warm cake.

recipe : Better than Jim 'N Nick's Cheesy Biscuits


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Bisquick
3/4 cup buttermilk
3 Tbps sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to make this recipe

Preheat oven to 425.  Stir together all ingredients just until combined.  Scoop into a mini muffin pan coated with cooking spray.  Bake 12 to 15 mins, until golden.  **I used a medium cookie scoop and got 20 muffins**

recipe :Jalapeño Popper Dip


Ingredients

6-8 slices of bacon, diced and cooked crispy
2 8-oz packages of cream cheese, soft
1 cup of mayonnaise
4-6 jalapeno's, chopped and de seeded. The seeds will make it fiery hot.
1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup diced green onion

Topping:

1 cup of crushed crackers ( I used Ritz)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 stick of butter, melted

How to make this recipe

Preheat oven to 350.
Combine all of the ingredients into a medium bowl. Stir well.
Transfer to an oven proof dish. The size of the dish depends on how thick the dip is. The thicker the dip the longer it may need to warm up. I used this stoneware dish that is round and measures 12 inches across. My dip is usually about an inch thick.
Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle all over the top of the dip.
Bake the dip for 20-30 mins or until bubbly.

recipe : Donut Muffins

Ingredients

makes 24 muffins

1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup margarine, melted
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to make this recipe

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 24 mini-muffin cups.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup margarine, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir in the milk, then mix in the baking powder and flour until just combined. Fill the prepared mini muffin cups about half full.
Bake in the preheated oven until the tops are lightly golden, 15 to 20 mins.
While muffins are baking, place 1/4 cup of melted margarine in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of sugar with the cinnamon. Remove muffins from their cups, dip each muffin in the melted margarine, and roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Let cool and serve.

Mud Cake

Ingredients

First you need one cup melted butter (you can use also one stick butter & one stick margarine)
You need also two cups of sugar
and half cup of unsweetened cocoa
4 large eggs (lightly beaten)
Then one tsp of vanilla extract
Also you need 1/8 tsp of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
1 (10.5-ounce) bag miniature marshmallows

recipe : School House Rolls

Ingredients

1 1⁄2 cups water
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1⁄3 cup sugar (do NOT forget this or they won't brown correctly)
1⁄3 cup oil
5 1⁄2 cups flour
5 1⁄2 teaspoons yeast

How to make this recipe

first step : Either put in machine in proper order for your machine or throw it in the mixer with a dough hook.
second step : Let it mix and knead for 10 mins or so while you find something else to do. It should be soft, but not run out of your hand when you lift it from the bowl.
Third step : Cover with cloth and let double.
Step 4 : Place on floured board. I just cut it into 4 "equal" pieces and the cut those into another 4 each.
Step 5 : Spray or grease a large jelly roll pan or whatever you have about that size. Put the big ones on one end and the little ones on the other. Leave about 3/4" or so between the rolls.
Step 6 : Beware, your environment and oven could change these times.
Step 7 : Let raise again. Bake at 400 degrees about 9 mins. Then I personally flip them onto another pan and bake upside down for another 3 mins so the bottom is nice and crunchy also.
Finally Step  : Store after cooling in a plastic bag or something, but make sure they are truly cool first. I put them in the freezer and then reheat them in the oven as we need them.

recipe : Braided Spaghetti Bread



Ingredients

one Loaf Rhodes™ Bread Dough or 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
six ounces spaghetti, cooked
one cup thick spaghetti sauce
eight ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
one egg white, beaten
Parmesan cheese
parsley flakes

How to make this recipe

First step : Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Roll loaf or combined dinner rolls into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest 10-15 mins. 
Second step : Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and let cool slightly. Remove wrap from dough. Place spaghetti lengthwise in a 4-inch strip down center of dough. 
Top with sauce and cheese cubes. Make cuts 1 1/2-inches apart on long sides of dough to within 1/2-inch of filling. Begin braid by folding top and bottom strips toward filling. Then braid strips left over right, right over left. Finish by pulling last strip over and tucking under braid. 
Lift braid with both hands and place on a large, sprayed baking sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. 
finally step : Bake at 350°F 30-35 mins or until golden brown. Cool slightly and slice to serve.

3/4 cup packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons milk or cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup miniature chocolate chips
additional miniature chocolate chips, if desired (to garnish the top)

Ingredients

To make this I used one Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust (baked according to directions on a 9 X 13 slightly greased baking sheet), and the topping consists of 1/2 small jar Prego Pizzeria Style Sauce, 1.5 cups traditional cut mozzarella cheese, 1/2 small jar sliced mushrooms, 24 pieces of sliced pepperoni, and 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese. Ready in 15 mins!

recipe : Cheesy Chicken Roll-ups

Ingredients

one cooked chicken breast (shredded)
1/2 cup sautéed onion
1/4 cup sautéed celery
one 15-ounce can Cream of Chicken Soup 
one tablespoon milk
one can of 8 refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to make this recipe

Combine shredded chicken, sautéed onions and celery together. Place one tablespoon of the mixture in a crescent roll and roll it up, sealing the edges. Repeat for each roll. Place the eight roll-ups in an 8 X 8 Pyrex baking dish. Place dish in oven for 30 mins of baking at 350 degrees. Heat the soup mixed with the milk in microwave on high for two mins. After 10 mins of baking, remove the roll-ups and surround them with the heated soup mixture. Return to oven. After 10 more mins, remove the roll-ups, sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top of them and return to the oven for the final 10 mins of baking.

recipe : Chicken & Spinach Pasta Bake

Ingredients

eight oz uncooked rigatoni
one T olive oil
one c chopped onion
one (10 oz) pack frozen spinach, thawed
three c cubed, cooked chicken breasts
one (14 oz) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
one (8 oz) container chive & onion cream cheese
½ t salt, ½ t pepper
1½ c shredded mozzarella cheese

How to make this recipe

First step : you need to prepare rigatoni according to package directions.
Second step : Spread oil on bottom of 11×7 in baking dish; add onion in a single layer.
Third step : Bake at 375 for 15 mins or just until tender.
Step 4 : Transfer onion to large bowl, set aside.
Step 5 : Drain chopped spinach well, pressing between paper towels.
Step 6 : Stir in rigatoni, spinach, chicken, & next 4 ingredients into onion in bowl.
Finally step : Spoon mixture

Note : into dish & sprinkle evenly with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake covered at 375 for 30 mins.
Uncover & bake 15 more mins or until bubbly.

recipe : Cheesy Enchilada Casserole

Ingredients

one pound lean ground beef (90% lean) 
one large onion, chopped or season with Onion powder or minced onion 
2 1/2 cups salsa 
one can (15 ounces) black beans or red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 
1/4 cup reduced-fat Italian salad dressing 
two  tablespoons reduced-sodium taco seasoning 
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 
six  flour tortillas (8 inches) 
one  small can of drained corn, or about 1 1/4 cups of frozen corn (optional) 
3/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream *Note: I used 1/2 cup 
two  cups (8 ounces) shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend 
one  cup shredded lettuce 
one  medium tomato, chopped
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro

How to make this recipe

First step : In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Second step : Stir in the salsa, beans, dressing, sour cream, corn (optional), taco seasoning and cumin.
Third step : Spoon a generous layer of meat mixture on bottom of 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step four : Place a flour or corn tortilla on top of meat mixture. Layer with half of the meat mixture, and cheese. Repeat as many layers as you like.
Step 5 : The last & final layer should be a healthy dose of grated cheese.
Step 6 : Cover with foil that has been sprayed with pam or other and bake at 400° for 25 mins, or until hot & bubbly. 
Finally step :Let stand for 5 mins before topping with lettuce, tomato and cilantro. Yield: 8 servings.

RCIPE : Baked Garlic Potato Slices

Ingredients

Two or Four  whole potatoes
salt
olive oil
finely chopped garlic
other herbs and spices of your choice

How to make this recipe

First you need to preheat oven to 400. Slice potatoes into desired thickness. Thinner is crispier and yummier. Rinse potatoes with water to remove starch. Dry with paper towel. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, salt, chopped garlic, and your choice of herbs and spices. Add the potatoes and continue to mix until each slice is evenly coated. Place the potatoes in a baking pan. Bake for 30 mins or until golden brown.

recipe : Jolean's Cheese Potato & Smoked Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

3 cups idaho potatoes, peeled, boiled and cut into cubes when cool, approx. 1 lb
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
1⁄2 lb Velveeta cheese, diced
1⁄2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb skinless smoked sausage (Eckrich is my favorite brand)
1⁄8 teaspoon paprika

How to make this recipe

First step : Cut skinless smoked sausage in half, lengthwise, and then chop into 1/2 inch "half moon" cuts. Cook in a frying pan for about 15 mins, turning frequently to SLIGHTLY brown.
Second step : Meanwhile, put cooked & diced potatoes in 2 quart casserole. Add cooked meat and give it a gentle toss.
Third step : Mix all remaining ingredients (except for shredded cheddar cheese & the paprika) in a saucepan over medium heat until warm, melted and smooth. (Use a whisk and stir constantly.).
Step 4 : Pour white/cheese sauce over potatoes and meat. Sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top, and then sprinkle paprika evenly over the top.
Finally step : Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 35-45 mins (watch, until golden brown on top).
NOTE: You can substitute: 1/2 lb. hot dogs, sliced into 1/2-inch slices OR 1/2 lb. ham diced into 1/2-inch dices OR 12 oz. can of Spam diced into 1/2-inch dices, instead of the smoked sausage.

4 cups of crushed strawberries
1 package of Ball Pectin
1 1/2 cups of Sugar

How to make this recipe 

Step 1 – Stir Sugar and Pectin together
Step 2 – Add crushed fruit, stir for 3 minutes
Step 3 – Ladle into jars, let stand/chill for 30 mins and it’s ready.

recipe : Cinnamon Toast

Ingredients

8 slices Bread (whole Wheat Is Great!)
1 stick Salted Butter, Softened
½ cup Sugar (more To Taste)
teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (more To Taste)
¼ teaspoons Ground Nutmeg (optional)

How to make this recipe

Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2 Smush softened butter with a fork. Dump in sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg, if using. Stir to completely combine.

Step 3 Spread on slices of bread, completely covering the surface all the way to the edges.

Step 4 Place toast on a cookie sheet. Place cookies sheet into the oven and bake for 10 min. Turn on the broiler and broil until golden brown and bubbling. Watch so it won’t burn!

Step 5 Remove from oven and cut slices into halves diagonally.
